Norfolk Island Pine (House Pine) is one of the most preferred decorative pine species for indoor use. With its soft, layered, and symmetrical branches, it offers the appearance of a miniature Christmas tree; however, it is tropical in origin and not a true cold-climate pine.
Symmetrical, tiered branch structure
Soft, needle-like leaves (non-prickly)
Very decorative and well-suited for indoor environments
Often preferred with modern and stylish pots
Prefers bright environments but should be protected from direct, harsh sunlight
Soil should be kept slightly moist and not allowed to dry out completely
Should be kept away from dry air sources such as air conditioners and radiators
Likes humidity; the leaves can be misted occasionally
